Trübsee Alpine Lodge is situated half way between Engelberg and the summit of TITLIS. The Lodge can only be reached by cable car.

The 8-seater TITLIS Xpress cable car transports you all the way up from the valley station in Engelberg to Trübsee Alpine Lodge. The ride takes just 10 minutes. The last cable car up from Engelberg is at 4.30 p.m. The first cable car down from Trübsee is at 8.30 a.m.

By car
Follow the A2 (Basel-Gotthard) and take the Stans Süd exit. Drive 20 km along the main road to Engelberg. Our guests can use car park 2 or 3 at the TITLIS Cableways valley station. Report to our parking attendant so that you can be assigned a space. The parking fee at the TITLIS valley station is CHF 5 per day in summer and CHF 10 per day in winter (winter = according to the current winter season from the beginning of October to the beginning of May).

By public transport
You can travel directly from Lucerne to Engelberg on the Zentralbahn railway. The journey from Lucerne takes around 45 minutes. The route from Engelberg train station to TITLIS valley station takes just ten minutes on foot or you can hop on the free shuttle bus.

Luggage transport
We will be happy to transport your luggage to Trübsee Alpine Lodge free of charge. You can drop off your luggage in the delivery area at the back of the valley station and collect it from Reception at Trübsee Alpine Lodge.
